Disgusted, he dashes off a manifesto about the job and, shock of shocks, is fired. One admiring accountant (Renee Zelwenger—boy do I have a crush on her, she’s very talented, but this is not a good role) follows him out the door. He holds onto one problematic client from his many priors, and gets skunked by his old colleagues But he wins the day and, we see, discovers he can love. Well, I just don’t buy it, but it went bonzo at the box office. Go figure. An Officer and a Gentleman, The Right Stuff, among the sports heroes. Not my cup of tea
