Enough Said

Posted on August 17, 2018 by Village Vidiot

Julia Louise Dreyfus, James Gandolfini, Catherine Keener and Toni Collette star in this lovely little Nicole Holofcener (writer/director) adult romantic comedy. Dreyfus plays Eva, a divorced masseuse, who meets Albert (wonderfully and sensitively played by Gandolfini), a divorced TV historian/archivist and his ex, Marianne (Keener), a narcissistic poet at a party She starts to see Gandolfini and they really hit it off, but her feelings becomes confused as Keener, a customer/friend, trashes her ex more and more. An adult film, it looks at parents separating from college aged kids, body image, self-esteem, identity, and much more. Do most couples really talk like these do?. It makes you realize how much we lost when Gandolfini died so young. This is his next to last film
