Munich

Posted on August 17, 2018 by Village Vidiot

I very much enjoyed this Steven Spielberg piece on the Israeli assassination program that followed on the Munich massacre of 1972. It is really a meditation on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. It offers no easy answers, the acting is good, the passion is genuine. Every now and then it slips into setups that are too easy, too pat, but generally it avoids those. I’m not a big Spielberg fan but I really enjoyed this film. Well worth watching
