George Clooney stars in this well done crime story about a lawyer whose primary job is to clean up the messes made by clients and others in the firm. He’s their “janitor”. Arthur Eadins (Tom Wilkinson) has gone off his medication and, finding clear evidence of his corporate clients’ guilt in the deaths of hundreds of farmers, plots with the victims. He goes crazy and Clooney is sent out to rescue him and the case, only to come back to NY and find that the guilt is real. He’s now the target. Tilda Swinton works as the amoral but overly stressed out lawyer for the corporations who’s authorizing their ‘protective’ response. Sydney Pollack is great, as always, as the head of Clayton’s firm. A very good and interesting movie. See this movie
