School of Rock

Posted on August 17, 2018 by Village Vidiot

Another positive review?. Gee, I don’t know if I can stand being so predictable. Both Bronwen and I really liked this rock and roll fantasy staring Jack Black. He’s the failed rocker who fakes his way into a gig in a private school to pay some debts. There he discovers that his class is full of talented nerds who he shapes and molds into his rock and rollers. It got a great soundtrack and a very good heart. We are going to let B- see this one, although it really is pushing the envelope a little bit. Still, it’s less problematic than Freaky Friday.
