El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

Posted on March 13, 2021April 17, 2021 by Village Vidiot

“El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie,” March 13, 2021 (2019), Netflix.  We’ve not seen “Breaking Bad” for several years and maybe it’s time to again as some of the references here probably got lost on us.  Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) is on the run after escaping from the fascist sociopaths of The Brotherhood during the mass slaughter that also killed Walter White.  How can he make it out of there with every cop trying to track him down?  How can he get enough money so that he can remove himself and start over in Alaska, his target destination?  Can he come to terms with himself and think of a different way to live?  Has he grown as a person enough to find another way?  Sometimes yes, sometimes no.  It’s interesting and Paul’s good.    Excellent work from one of my favorites, Robert Foster as Ed. the remover, and all the other principles from the Breaking Bad franchise who appear in flashbacks.
